Raven's Loft first began as a brick and mortar Witch Shop in downtown Escondido California in 1998.  Here it served the needs of the Craft and Pagan community of North County San Diego until July of 2002. Because of the demands of traveling Raven's Loft is now an online store based in San Diego, California and is serving the magical community Worldwide. It is owned and operated by Stephanie Taylor –Grimassi.  Support of Raven’s Loft helps to provide a foundation for the preservation and ongoing efforts to keep the Old Ways flame alive and burning.

Being a practitioner herself of the Old Ways, Stephanie, is ever mindful of the needs of seekers of alternative spirituality and practitioners of Earth-based religions. With products ranging from their own brand of incense and oils, Home grown herbs, to candles and books, to jewelry and statuary, to tools and divinatory products,  Raven’s Loft also has original items based on Old Ways tradition made by Stephanie and Raven or exclusively produced for the store.  The Crossroads Collection of statuary, inspired from the Oracle decks Stephanie and Raven designed, is an example of original products carried by Raven’s Loft.  The first pieces of the collection are the Goddess and God statues featured in the Hidden Path Oracle cards and The Wheel of the Year plaque from the Well Worn Path Oracle cards. There are several more pieces in the workings.

Stephanie Taylor-Grimassi is a practicing witch of the Old Ways and is dedicated to guiding and teaching those who seek Them. She is a 3rd degree initiate of a Celtic Traditionalist system of Wicca, and a 3rd degree initiate of Italian Witchcraft (the Arician Tradition). Stephanie is a legally ordained clergy of Witchcraft.

Stephanie’s life experience has always been intertwined with a very strong connection to Nature and it has been an important influence in her understanding of the world around her. She has studied, taught, and used the arts of the Craft as tools of personal transformation throughout her life experience. Astrology and the tarot called to her at an early age. Stephanie became a Tarot reader and teacher with many years of experience. She has been a guest speaker on several panels alongside such noted figures as Monty Farber, Amy Zerner, Rachel Pollack and Ray Buckland. She has also appeared on television and in several short film documentaries on Witchcraft. Stephanie has also worked as a consultant for the movie pilot film Mind Forest, in which she likewise appears.

In 2005, Stephanie co-author and co-created with husband Raven Grimassi (and artist, Mickie Mueller) the teaching and divination system called The Well Worn Path Oracle kit.  And, in 2007, the Grimassis again co-authored and co-created the “next step” The Hidden Path Oracle Kit along with artist Mickie Mueller.

She currently lives in southern California with her husband, Raven Grimassi, and divides her time between teaching workshops, operating Raven's Loft webstore, author management and publicist work, while creating and developing a Mystery Tradition Fellowship via The College of the Crossroads.
